So glad you are here :)

A little about me...

My photographic journey began in 2010 when I started posting photos of my son, Wyatt, on Facebook.  Business blossomed and I fell in love with the art and creative outlet it offered.

Not only do I enjoy capturing images, but also creating unique experiences and being part of such important and personal moments in peoples' lives.  I love getting to know my clients, building relationships, and being trusted to tell their story through my perspective.

I'm located in Central Illinois and available for worldwide travel offering fine art portraiture and wedding photography.

I feel so honored and lucky to have a fulfilling career doing something I love so much.

I earned my Master's Degree in Business and worked in healthcare for ten years prior to becoming a photographer.  I enjoyed meeting and helping patients and feeling like I was making a difference.  After having my son, becoming a business owner was a better option for us and now, I help people by documenting once in a lifetime moments to be cherished and passed down for generations.

Here are a few things I love about the different sessions I offer...

Pregnancy - the beauty and miracle of carrying a precious little life.  You may feel swollen and exhausted, but I'm telling you...you're gorgeous and amazing...the photos will prove it.

Newborn - tiny, little curled up sweet babies are a true piece of art in themselves. They are only this little once.  Don't lose the moment with cell phone pics!

Children - their laughing and innocence and personalities coming through.  They are so fun.

Tweens - That in between stage where they are trying to figure out who they are and where they belong. These sessions celebrate their individuality and help them feel confident and unique. Sometimes it can be hard to know how they are feeling and what they are going through, maybe they don't talk to you about it and you feel helpless, but you can make a difference with these sessions.

High School Seniors - This is a huge time in their lives where they will soon become adults.  The perfect time to capture their youth and free spirit before they are off to college.  The experience in itself will let them realize how special and loved they are for being who they are.

Families - The connection and emotion and making fun memories to hold on to.  Documenting happy, true moments to keep forever.

Engagements- These sessions are so fun...we get to travel to awesome locations that are meaningful to couples.  We get to be playful and creative and show why you two are so awesome together.  A perfect opportunity to get gorgeous photos together without the stress or restrictions of the wedding day.  It's a great way for us to get to know each other and for you to get used to the camera before your big day!

Weddings - I LOVE capturing weddings. Each detail you took time to plan, the love and support of friends and family, the excitement, the tears of joy, the love story, the unexpected moments, the fun bridal party, the romantic bride and groom photos, the father daughter dance where I cry 75% of the time...all of it.  Families joining.  A new family being created. Every. Single. Moment.

Boudoir-These sessions always boost confidence and are the perfect little gift to yourself or a partner.  Celebrate your beauty and sensuality. Learn to accept yourself as you are right now and finally see how gorgeous you really are.

Fashion/Creative - Where I get to try new things and create art. We come up with ideas together to make an amazing piece with you as the subject!

***That's a whole lot of info...if you've made it this far, I'll share a little more personal stuff.  My father died when I was a little girl, all but a few memories faded, leaving the handful of photos as all I have to keep his memory alive.  Capturing you with your loved ones is more important than you may realize. The connection and love for people to hold on to and pass down.  If not for you, exist in photos for your children!

I've also struggled with confidence issues and it would have made a world of difference to be shown I was worthy and unique and accepted like many of my sessions do.

So now you know wayyy too much about me hahaha, but wanted to show why I am so passionate about what I do :)
